The U-Pass<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Universal Transit Pass (U-Pass) is a discounted fare<\/a> offered through Carleton University\u2019s partnership with OC Transpo. The U-Pass program is the result of successful referendums in 2012 and 2016, organized by the Carleton University Students\u2019 Association (CUSA) and the Graduate Students\u2019 Association (GSA). Subsequently, contract negotiations were completed between the University and OC Transpo, resulting in a legally binding agreement which provides a discounted transit fare to all eligible students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligible students are entitled to unlimited travel on OC Transpo and the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de transport de l\u2019Outaouais (STO) in Gatineau. Only Para Transpo service to rural zones requires a supplemental fare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The U-Pass is a compulsory fee for all eligible students<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
