*VIRTUAL* Intermediate Engineering & Design Studio (Grades 7-12) *12 weeks

This club’s goal is to encourage middle school and high school students (Gr. 7 to 12) to engage in team-oriented projects that will teach them the concepts of team management, product design, product development and release processes.

Students will be teamed up to develop a product of their choice. Students will need a PC or laptop to download free softwares. The virtual club will be run on a Discord server set up to allow teams to communicate with each other, as well as communicate with Virtual Ventures instructors for whatever help teams may need.

Teams will present their projects and work in a midterm and final presentation to the club, parents, and industry professionals. More information will be provided during the club.

*Instructors may have their mid-term exams scheduled on a Saturday during clubs. In such instances, the club will be rescheduled to another Saturday. Parents will be given advance notice.

Please note that the curriculum for each club is developed by instructors during the week leading up to each session. Lessons are similar to what is taught at our summer camps.
