Registration

Register for our camps through the Camps section. You can only register online for our programs. Registration for our Summer Camps will open on March 1, 2023 at 12 PM (noon).

We accept VISA and Mastercard payment for online registrations; however, you can still fill in the application form online and mail in a cheque for payment. Please note that registration is not guaranteed until we receive your cheque.

There will be a $25 fee for any cancellations received prior to June 11th; a $50 fee for cancellations received up to one week prior to the confirmed start of camp; after which there will be no refund given. However, there is no fee to switch into a different camp or to switch camp weeks (depending on space availability). Cancellations within 24 hours of registration will incur a $15 admin fee.

Credit cards are processed immediately through our secure online registration system. A valid email is required for a receipt to be sent to you.

We take a $50 deposit per camp upon registration. The remaining fees are due 2 weeks prior to each camp start date.

You can pay your remaining balance by logging in your online account here.

If you did not receive a confirmation package, you can log in to your Online Account using the username and password you created during registration to verify your registration. Also check your junk mail folder as some e-mail accounts do not recognize Virtual Ventures e-mail addresses.

The Extended Care Program offers before and after camp care for campers at an additional cost.

Extended AM: Campers can be dropped off starting at 8am. (Regular 4pm pick-up in the afternoon)

Extended PM: Campers can be picked up until 5pm. (Regular 9am drop-off in the morning)

Extended AM & PM: The Extended Program allows campers to be dropped off after 8 am and picked up until 5 pm.

To change weeks or add extended care option to your registration, please call our office at 613-520-2600 x5007 or e-mail vv@carleton.ca. You can drop by the office on the first day of camp to purchase extended care.

No. In order to secure a spot for your child, please fill out the online registration form and pay with a credit card or mail us your payment for the full amount required. Registrations are not guaranteed until payment has been made in full.

Virtual Ventures summer camps are independent of other Carleton University camps and we do not share the same accounts or registration databases. Registration cannot be switched from another camp to our camp or vice versa.

We do offer a bursary program for those that qualify. Bursary applications can be completed as part of the online application process. For more information please visit the Bursary section.

If you registered online the confirmation email you received can be used as a receipt. You can also log into your Online Account and download a printable receipt.

Sometimes the online registration can be a bit confusing. If the weeks for the camps you’re looking for do not show up but the correct camp group does show up in different weeks please check the Availability of the camp. If the week appears to still have space available and you are unable to register please call our office at 613-520-2600 x5007.
