Our volunteer applications for Summer 2023 will open April 1!
Every year, Virtual Ventures depends on numerous volunteers to help our programs run effectively. As a volunteer, you will be responsible for helping instructors teach our advanced workshops to campers who are younger than you.
Being a volunteer at Virtual Ventures is a very rewarding experience. Volunteers learn great skills and have the chance to teach those skills to others. We accept Volunteer Applications for various programs and events throughout the year.
Age Requirements: Volunteers must be at least 14 years or older to volunteer with us.
Volunteer Behaviour Agreement
To volunteer with Virtual Ventures, you must have a valid Police Record Check with the Vulnerable Sector (if 18 years or older) screening. On your first day of volunteering, please bring the record check in or your receipt if you haven’t received it yet.
Are you 18 years or older? We require the Level 3 – Vulnerable Sector Check
Are you under 18 years old? We do not require a Police Record Check (as per Ottawa Police Record Check rules effective Nov. 1 2018)
