Carleton University has supported VV with a huge array of facilities right from the beginning of Virtual Ventures in 1994. In addition to all of the science and computer labs, we also receive access to classrooms, lecture theatres, board rooms, lobbies, parking facilities, sports fields, a fast internet connection, and more. Participants at Virtual Ventures never have to share computers, and often have multiple computers, something that has only been possible due to Carleton’s tremendous dedication to our program!


With our partner, Shopify, we run a weekly program based on digital skills at Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa locations.



NSERC Promoscience Award supports our girls outreach programs.

Actua provides training, resources and support to its national network of members located at universities and colleges across Canada in the delivery of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education outreach programming.
