Virtual Ventures is now offering FREE Teacher PD Courses to give teachers the tools to host more technology-based content in their classrooms. Our asynchronous online courses will guide you through the ins and outs of different software, hardware, and digital skills.
Knowing that many schools do not own or have the funding to purchase the technology, all our content will focus on content using only FREE software and/or provide you with the necessary technology!

Coding and Digital Skills – Integrating Coding into any Lesson
As coding and digital skills become a larger part of our everyday life inside and outside the classroom, this course will guide you on how to use free coding and 3D modeling platforms while also showing you how to connect it to the Ontario Curriculum. Through this course, you will be provided with possible lesson ideas and tutorials, and the tools on how to integrate coding and digital skills into the classroom.
The Engineering Design Process – Integrating into the Science Curriculum
Learn about the realm of engineering! With the Engineering Design Process (EDP) being added to the Ontario Curriculum our course is intended to guide you through the application of EDP skills inside the classroom. The course will include steps on how to integrate the material in the classroom, evaluate students’ performance with a sample rubric, and overall understand the EDP.
