Workshops FAQ

We can deliver workshops on the Carleton campus (May-June only) or at your location (school, community center) in the Ottawa area.

We can deliver workshops Monday-Friday from 9 am-4 pm in the months of September-June. Availability does change every season, based on our Instructors’ schedules.

We do deliver workshops for some special cases on weekends (example: STEM Expo), if you’re looking for weekend activities we also run Saturday Clubs and special events (on Carleton campus).

We provide all supplies and equipment needed (including laptops for on-computer activities).

A room with desks and chairs is all we need! Please let us know if there is no projector in the room and we will bring one.

Workshops are 1.5-2 hours long, with the exception of LEGO Robotics, which requires a minimum of 3 hours.

The workshops outside the digital literacy category are made to meet a part of the curriculum for the intended age groups.

The cost of workshops ranges from $90-$100 per workshop depending on how many workshops you are booking, and where the workshop will be delivered. We also offer many workshops for free!

Workshops are delivered in English.

Yes, depending on availability, travel time for the instructors, and the duration of the selected workshops.

If the time you have booked for a workshop no longer works for you, please contact us at vv@carleton.ca, so that we may try to reschedule your workshops.

There is no need to procure parent volunteers. Between the two instructors and the teacher in the room, there is more than enough support!
