Users should be informed of what the outcome of clicking the link will be. If someone with a screen reader is browsing from link-to-link on a page they will not know is going to happen if the link is not descriptive of this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a link which reads \u201cLearn more\u201d does not give much context unless text around it is read<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a link reading \u201cAdmissions\u201d is not necessarily all the information someone needs to decide if this is a link they need to read<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Fix:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Give context and action in your link text:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Learn more about Math at Carleton<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apply now!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: This also has the benefit of being a call to action for anyone.
