Here For You is an online workshop created to help you recognize and support your own mental health. Using a 4 R Framework, participants learn how mental health and mental illness are different but related concepts, understand the importance of building in self-care into their daily routines, how to understand and recognize themselves on a mental health continuum, and find support through on and off campus supports.
This workshop parallel’s our Supporting a Friend workshop, and is a great next step if you want to support those around you. We are all in this together.
By the end of this workshop you will:
- Acknowledge the similarities and differences between mental health and mental illness
- Recognize the 4 R Framework
- Understand personal coping strategies for stress
- Find resources for campus wide supports
