I am a very friendly Flattie (that is the nickname given to Flat-coated Retrievers) and I LOVE everyone. One of the characteristics of us Flatties is that our tails never stop wagging! Please come to visit me and check out my wagging tail. I also have some tricks to show you and I love getting petted as a reward! My two-legged handler is also very social and knows lots about dogs (she is a dog trainer in her spare time) so if you have any doggy-related questions feel free to ask her. She is also keen on ferrets (yup those small smelly critters and yes I love ferrets too), so you can also ask her ferret-related questions. I am looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible!
Fun fact – interacting with a therapy dog can diminish your stress levels, reduce feelings of homesickness, and increase your sense of belonging at Carleton. Come and see how much fun it is to spend time with me or one of the other Carleton Therapy Dogs.
