The Feminist Incubator Series 2017/18

 What’s a Feminist Incubator?

Do you have a nascent idea for a new book or article that could use some help? Are you a struggling to develop a novel theoretical framework, a particular concept, a new approach? Bring it to the Feminist Incubator, a new space for collegial brainstorming brought to you by the Joint Chair in Women’s Studies!

 How does it work?

Two weeks ahead, you send us a paragraph or two (200 words) that we will circulate to other faculty members, CIs, and graduate students in women’s and gender studies at Carleton and Ottawa U.  Everyone who attends will have read your submission and will arrive with ideas to help you brainstorm, and take the next step in developing your brilliant idea. This is not meant to be a formal presentation, but rather offers a space to work through new ideas and outlines, while receiving suggestions from colleagues.
