Cultural Transfers Workshop Series: “Museum Transfers”

The Centre for Transnational Cultural Analysis and ICSLAC invite you to attend the first session of the Cultural Transfers Workshop series, titled ‘Museum Transfers’, on Friday January 20th, 2:30-4:30, in Saint Patrick’s Building 2010D (ICSLAC Seminar Room).

This session will feature Monica Patterson (ICLSAC and IIS) and Lisa Truong (Cultural Mediations PhD Candidate).

Workshops are organized as follows: two 20-minute presentations followed by a question/discussion period.

Cultural Transfers is a workshop series co-organized by the Institute for Comparative Studies in Literature, Art and Culture and the Centre for Transnational Cultural Analysis, Carleton University.

Future Workshops are scheduled as follows:

  • ‘Pop Culture Transfers’, on Friday March 3rd, 2:30-4:30, with Benjamin Woo (Journalism) and Jenna Stidwill (Cultural Mediations PhD Candidate)
  • ‘Atlantic Transfers’, on Friday April 7th, 2:30-4:30, with Sébastien Côté (ICSLAC and French) and Pauline Goutain (Cultural Mediations PhD Candidate)

All workshops will take place in Room 201D St. Patrick’s (ICSLAC Seminar room).
