Directed by Hasi Eldib, this short documentary follows a collaborative music-making project with children facing life-limiting illness at Roger Neilson Children’s Hospice in Ottawa. Led by Recreation Therapist Sam Albert and developed in collaboration with Jesse Stewart through We Are All Musicians (WAAM) and the Abilities Living Laboratory, the project supported the children in co-writing and co-performing the song “Voices of Roger Neilson Children’s Hospice,” drawing on their own words, ideas, and musical contributions. The film celebrates their creativity, personalities, and different modes of communication while offering a moving portrait of music as a means of connection, expression, and joy.
