Matthew is interested in cognitive architectures, the structure of human memory, and the encoding and processing of meaning. He is interested in developing computational models that better reflect the flexibility of human cognition. Currently, he is focused on leveraging hyperdimensional computing and cognitive architectures to investigate false memory formation.
