Erick Arwa completed his B.Sc. Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Nairobi and M.Sc. Electrical Engineering at the University of Cape Town. During his M.Sc., he researched power systems scheduling using advanced reinforcement learning algorithms. At APEX, Erick’s Ph.D. thesis is on intelligent and resilient control of power grids during extreme events such as wildfires.
