Liamm is currently working towards his M.A.Sc. in Sustainable Energy with a focus on the design and development of novel Airborne Wind Turbines. Liamm has been passionate about moving the world towards sustainable energy generation methods to mitigate the effects of climate change for many years, and he believes the largely untapped resource of wind energy is crucial to accomplishing this goal. Prior to joining the APEX research group, Liamm obtained his B.Eng. in Aerospace Engineering from Carleton University in 2024. During this time, he was also very involved in the Carleton University chapter of Engineers Without Borders, where he held multiple executive positions over his degree including the role of Co-President in the 2022-2023 year.
