Macie Orrell

M.A.Sc. Candidate

Macie is working towards her M.A.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering and is currently researching the design and optimization of airborne wind turbines. Macie has always had a passion for sustainable aviation and is very interested in lighter-than-air technologies in aerospace. Prior to joining APEX, Macie obtained a B.Eng. in Aerospace Engineering (Carleton University) and has held various internships focusing on aircraft structural repairs, maintenance, and aerospace consulting.
