Stephen completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering at Carleton University in 2023. For his M.A.Sc research at APEX, Stephen is examining potential decarbonization pathways that facilitate the integration of low-cost renewable energy into power systems by leveraging seasonal energy patterns. To date, Stephen’s work experience has centered in the nuclear industry and includes a technical co-op at the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, in addition to working as a Mechanical Designer at Terrestrial Energy developing Molten Salt Reactor technology.
