Degrees:B.Sc.

Olivia Chamberland is a Master of Applied Science Candidate in Aerospace Engineering at Carleton University. Her research is focused on bioinspired micro aerial vehicles. She is currently working on developing new structural analysis methods to predict the aeroelastic performance of flapping wings. The project is a collaboration between the Biology Department and the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. She is co-supervised by Dr. Fidel Khouli (Aerospace), Dr. Jeremy Laliberte (Aerospace) and Dr. Jeff Dawson (Biology). Olivia comes from a unique background; she completed her undergraduate degree at Mount Allison University where she majored in physics and minored in both math and biology.
