Research Interests

Andréanne Veillette is a first year PhD student in Ethics and Public Affairs at Carleton University under the supervision of Dr. Michael Wohl and Dr. David Matheson. Her research interests focus on intergroup relationships and conspiracy theories. More specifically, she is interested in understanding how intergroup contempt may influence conspiracy belief and designing empirically informed strategies to counter the social consequences of conspiracy theories.

Andréanne is also a member of the Canada Research Chair in Applied Epistemology and an affiliated member of the Canada Research Chair on Epistemic Injustice and Agency.
