Gray is completing their MA thesis in psychology under the supervision of Dr. Michael Wohl. They are assessing the effect of nostalgic reverie (i.e., sentimental longing) on recovery process. Additionally, they are examining the effectiveness of responsible gambling programs in reducing gambling related harms and facilitating positive play.

Other research interests include substance use, craving, effective treatment programs, and criminal justice reform.
