Following the completion of an honours thesis in psychology in 2020, Mackenzie became the Betterment Lab’s manager/ research assistant. Mackenzie is now continuing her research as a Masters student under the supervision of Dr. Michael Wohl. Her research interests include nostalgia, addiction, ambivalence and behaviour change. Specifically, her work examines relapse prevention among individuals with gambling disorders and other addictive behaviours.
