Professor Leslie Pal offered a four-day workshop in Doha on Policy and Program Evaluation. At the invitation of the Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies, he worked with 30 senior government officials and managers on conducting evaluations of Qatar-based public programs. He also held organizational meetings with co-editors and authors for a book project on public policy making in Qatar. Working with partners in the region, this extends CGPM’s research and teaching activities into governance systems that face different challenges and opportunities from those in the former Soviet region.
