While often overlooked in contemporary foreign policy discourses, commercial relations between Russia and Canada are a fascinating and critical component of bi-lateral connection. In this special lecture, Mr. Lou Naumovski will share his professional insights into the state of Canadian-Russia commercial relations, past and present.
The event will take place on Thursday, January 7, 2016. 2:30-4:00pm. MacOdrum Library, ML 482. Carleton University.
Mr. Naumovski is the Vice President and General Manager of the Moscow Representative Office, Kinross Gold Corporation (the largest Canadian investor in Russia), and Chairman of the National Board of the Canada-Eurasia-Russia Business Association (CERBA). During the 1980s, he worked as a diplomat and trade commissioner for Canada, with assignments in Russia, Iraq and Georgia. Mr. Naumovski also helped to launch, and was the first Executive Director of the Canada – USSR Business Council from 1990-1992.
