Title of MRE: Methodological and Theoretical Considerations in the Study of Meditation Teachers as Authorities in the Modern West
Current/Future Plans:
Prior to doing this MA, I studied and work in the field of Environmental Science. Since completing the MA last year, I have started working for Environment and Climate Change Canada, in the Pan-Canadian Framework on Clean Growth and Climate Change Implementation Office, where I am helping dispense funding for climate-impactful projects across Canada. Every day, I use the skills I honed while doing my MA in Religion and Public Life: communicating clearly, thinking critically, juggling priorities, and not worrying about what people think of me. Working for government, I am also starting to understand what ‘Public Life’ might mean. For now, I continue my studies on the side as part of a lifelong journey of learning, appreciating and building on all that I learned at Carleton.
