Title of MRE: From the Four Directions: Indigenous Community & Identity in Ottawa
Current/Future Plans: I am currently in my first year of the Indigenous Studies PhD at Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario. My work on my MRE at Carleton inspired me to focus on Indigenous issues and concerns in Canada. My PhD thesis (in its current form at least) looks at Indigenous adoption and how that is connected to incarceration. I also work as a historian on the Trent-Severn Waterway for Parks Canada.
