I am very pleased to report that two Ph.D. students, Lloyd Balbuena and Mark Tovey successfully defended their theses in recent weeks.  Congratulations to both of you and to your respective supervisors, John Logan and Chris Herdman.  Thanks to everyone on the committees for their important input and support.

These defenses are the 21st and 22nd for the Cognitive Science Ph.D. program.  The first student, Zoltan Jakob, defended his thesis in 2002.

We have had a ‘bumper crop’ of graduates over the last 6 months, with Fred Mailhot, Andrea Gormley, and Matthew Rutledge-Taylor also defending since July.

Congratulations to everyone on this significant academic accomplishment.  Note that theses are available (once final copies are submitted) through the Carleton Library Website.
