The Institute of Cognitive Science’s (ICS) Ida Toivonen and Ash Asudeh (together with Joan Bresnan and Stephen Wechsler) have written a textbook entitled “Lexical Functional Syntax, 2nd edition” which is just being released.
This second edition is substantively different from the first edition.
The endorsement on the back cover by Mary Dalrymple calls it “a thorough, lucid, and well-motivated introduction to lexical-functional syntax, and a major contribution to syntactic theory”.
ICS congratulates two members of it’s faculty.
