Jerzy Jarmasz

Jerzy is a Defence Scientist at Defence Research and Development Canada — Toronto.

Working in the area of simulation & training for defence & public security, with a focus on using synthetic environments of various types for training cognitive skills (complex decision making, situation awareness, team coordination).

Member of NATO HFM RTG 297 (Augmentation Technologies), MSG ET 050 (Standards for xR). 

Special Award: First Cog Sci PhD student to have his external examiner physically present at his defence (despite the great blackout of ’03)
