I am exploring how Alzheimer’s disease (AD) affects consciousness, with a focus on multi-dimensional changes to selfhood, time perception, and overall awareness. My dissertation bridges philosophical inquiry with clinical application, aiming to inform how altered conscious experience is assessed and understood in AD. I collaborate with the CANAL lab at Carleton as well as the National Research Council of Canada measuring how cognition changes through the aging spectrum.
