CTPL uses an experiential approach to the design and delivery of its professional training programs, academic courses and coaching sessions. Presentations are short and concise, introducing practical tips, checklists, and planning tools in each session. Simulations and case exercises based on real-life examples provide the opportunity to apply these tools and “learn-by-doing”. All tools and interactive sessions are based on the practical experience of the instructors and interviews with current and former senior trade officials and diplomats from CTPL’s extensive international network of experts. CTPL can also provide institutional support to senior managers to integrate the content developed and lessons learned from these courses into their internal human resource development strategies.
