Emilie de Rosenroll obtained her BA Honours in history. She found the program was broad in scope, which exposed her to a spectrum of perspectives and historical approaches. In fact, the courses she most enjoyed were often those she was initially least interested in taking.
“Above all, my professors made Carleton a great place to study at,” said de Rosenroll. “They are interested, engaging and very approachable.”
This fall, de Rosenroll will begin her MA at Simon Fraser University. She will focus on modern Mexican indigenous history and is especially interested in identity politics and challenges to the nation state.
