Open Data Structures

Every computer science curriculum in the world includes a course on data structures and algorithms. Data structures are that important; they improve our quality of life and even save lives on a regular basis. Many multi-million and several multi-billion dollar companies have been built around data structures. If we stop to think about it, we realize that we interact with data structures constantly.
The eTextbook, Open Data Structures, includes approximately 80 interactive videos and online exercises and expanding the user experience by making it more accessible with transcripts, captions etc. Each interactive module will be self-contained, so that it can be used as a resource by instructors working from any textbook. text includes 40 modules arranged into 14 chapters each of which will consist of two to five interactive videos, each being two to five minutes in length, and having at least one self-assessment exercise and discussion questions. A typical student using a module will spend 10-20 minutes watching videos and 40-60 minutes doing in-video and post-video exercises.

Algèbre Linéaire et Applications

Le but de ce manuel est de donner une base solide en algèbre linéaire aux étudiants ayant l’intention de poursuivre des études dans des domaines appliqués des sciences, de ingénierie et des statistiques. Ce manuel est divisé en deux parties. La partie I est une introduction à l’algèbre linéaire. La partie II aborde des sujets de niveaux intermédiaire, culminant à une discussion sur la décomposition en valeurs singulières, qui est devenu un puissant outil d’analyse des données et d’applications en ingénierie. Le manuel se termine par que quelques applications.
Ce manuel met l’accent sur les méthodes de calcul et les résultats. À quelques exceptions près, les aspects théoriques des sujets discutés sont aussi traités en détail. Il est ainsi possible de choisir combien de temps consacrer aux aspects théoretiques de chaque sujet.
