Jaime Snow

Jaime Snow (she/her) is a PhD student in Law and Legal Studies at Carleton University and a researcher on police use of force with the Tracking (In)Justice project. Her doctoral research examines the symbiotic harms of incarceration, with a particular focus on how the mother-child relationship comes to be (re)shaped by incarceration. Her broader research interests include critical prison studies, families and incarceration, and carceral geography. She holds a Master’s Degree in Criminology with a specialization in Feminist and Gender studies, as well as a Joint Honours Bachelor of Social Science in Criminology and Feminist and Gender Studies from the University of Ottawa. Jaime’s involvement in Tracking (In)Justice reflects her commitment to critically examining the lived impacts of policing and incarceration on marginalized individuals and families in Canada.
