Jeffrey Bradley holds a PhD in Legal Studies and is a contract instructor in the Institute of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Carleton University. He is also a research assistant with the Tracking (In)Justice Project, where his work has examined police violence and deaths in custody. His research and advocacy have included supporting families impacted by police violence, prison injustice, and drawing public and scholarly attention to non-carceral approaches to community safety, including alternatives to policing and transformative justice. While he previously worked on the deaths in custody component of the project, he is now a member of the police oversight research team. In addition to his academic work, Jeffrey is a community organizer with the Ottawa Transformative Justice Collective.
