Participants can expect to learn ways of articulating and responding to ethical problems connected with development. Workshops begin with discussion of ethical problems that participants have encountered in development practice or theory. Facilitators follow up by leading the group towards insights from chapters in the Handbook of Development Ethics.
Previously two sets of workshops were held for Canadian development practitioners in 2022. In 2023, two Spanish-language workshops were held, one for practitioners and one for academics.
