The Digital Pedagogy Project is proud to launch our open-access module that focuses on the pedagogy of research assistants. The module titled “From Research Assistantships to Beyond: Transferable Skills, Reflexivity, and Communication for RAs” is building off of a workshop hosted for DPP project partners this past spring. This module was developed to be an open access resource for research assistants and those who employ them. Structured into three parts, the video component of the module breaks down transferable skills, the meaning-making reflections, and the communication of skills into new circumstances for RAs. Turning to the different kinds of outputs and the value they have for RAs is a way to reorient the outcomes of RAships towards the learning and pedagogy embedded in research assistantships.
