As we begin the Winter 2025 semester, we’re pleased to share an update on the progress of the Digital Pedagogy Project at Carleton University. Over the past several months, we’ve been working closely with a small group of instructors to support the development of course units and modules that integrate—or further embed—digital media and/or open access publishing into their teaching. Most of these course modules have now been completed and delivered, and the majority of our participant interviews with instructors are also finished. These interviews have provided valuable insights into their experiences and reflections on the process.
While we’ve encountered some unforeseen delays along the way, we’re looking forward to wrapping up the final interviews this semester. In the coming months, we’ll shift our focus to synthesizing key findings and preparing materials that will contribute to broader discussions on digital pedagogy in higher education. We’d like to thank everyone who’s supported this project from the outset, especially the participants themselves, and we’re excited to share more updates in the spring and summer as we move toward completion.
