Despite Russian interference in Armenia’s recent elections, Nikol Pashinyan and the Civil Contract Party won a decisive majority. This electoral victory continues a dedication to promote stability and trade through increased regional relations with Azerbaijan and Türkiye. However, Armenia’s liberal democracy is in a fragile position and depends on Canadian, EU and American support.
