On March 16 and 22, our colleagues at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada hosted us for two workshops to discuss the results of earlier surveys on climate indicators.  The participants helped us evaluate which potential indicators may be most promising or useful to a range of stakeholder sectors, both in terms of demands for the information, and availability of supporting data or ease/complexity in calculating the indicators.  Experts from the sectors of agriculture, public health, environmental/resource management, and municipal planning were consulted.  The results of the survey and subsequent consultations are now being used to write a report to inform and document further indicator development and calculation.
