Carleton University’s Ethnography Lab is a space for students, faculty, and community members to learn about and develop their ethnographic research and presentation skills. The lab is a safe and student-centred hub for individuals to inquire, question, critique, and experiment. Unbound by traditional conceptions of ethnographic research, we challenge the boundaries of what ethnography could look like, and explore the endless possibilities of ethnographic knowledge in an ever-changing world.
The lab offers programming for practitioners, students, and the public to learn about ethnographic research and experiences through workshops, lectures, research reports, and other events. It will also provide a space for collaboration and teamwork on small and large-scale ethnographic projects in and around the Carleton Community!
