Balkan Devlen is the Co-Founder and Principal at the Pendulum Geopolitical Advisory and Senior Fellow at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute (MLI). He writes, speaks, and advises on great-power geopolitics, authoritarian leaders, NATO’s Eastern Flank, and the best ways of preparing for the future – anticipation, geopolitical forecasting, and strategic foresight. Previously, he was the Director of the Transatlantic Program at MLI and held faculty positions in the US, Turkey, and Denmark.
