Dr. Del Rosario Sosa is an esteemed educator with a rich academic background. Graduating as a primary school teacher in 1984 marked the beginning of her journey in education. Since then, she has achieved notable milestones, including earning a PhD in Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) and completing the second round of the Master’s program in Gender at INTEC.

Over the past 15 years, Dr. Del Rosario has served as a dedicated full professor in the Social Sciences and Humanities Area. Additionally, she has taken on the role of coordinator for the Master’s program in Gender and Equality Policies in Education, showcasing her commitment to advancing gender equality within the educational sphere.

As a researcher, Dr. Del Rosario has been actively involved in interdisciplinary teams focusing on issues such as violence, migration, and legislation from a gender perspective. Her expertise extends beyond academia, as she also serves as an advisor to the Gender Equity Commission of the Chamber of Deputies. Furthermore, she is sought after both nationally and internationally as a consultant for various projects, highlighting her influence and impact in the field.
