Join Carleton University Art Gallery (CUAG) for our DOUBLE MAJOR lecture series, where we’ll hear from two passionate experts, each speaking for 20 minutes about their subject, after which there will be a Q&A addressing both topics. One speaker is from the Ottawa-Gatineau community, and one is from the Carleton community. DOUBLE MAJOR is a fun and friendly way to stimulate discussion of seemingly disparate topics, and to make new connections between people and ideas. Props encouraged!
DOUBLE MAJOR is brought to you by CUAG and by the Carleton University Alumni Association.
Laura Wesley works as a policy nerd for the federal government. She writes policies and guidance on designing user-centric products and services. She tweets under the moniker @resultsjunkie and blogs irregularly at www.usability4government.wordpress.com Laura’s interest in open source initiatives and human motivation form a lens through which we can consider the most effective ways of working together. What can we learn about problem solving from the open movement? And what is open source anyway?
