Conflict, insecurity, weak institutions and limited access to justice remain a great threat to sustainable development. The threats of international homicide, violence against children, human trafficking, sexual violence, not protecting rights and freedoms and disease. This course will explore the role of institutions, organizations and individuals in protecting peace or promoting conflict and war and higlights the international challenges aimed at protecting universal rights and access to justice and social services. The course will use a problem-based approach to explore these issues.
