A basic on-site machine shop provided by FIRST Canada will be available in the Ravens’ Nest for team use (including a drill press, band saw, and more). Please note that all teams are responsible for their own materials to be used within the shop.
Parking Lot P5, located directly adjacent to Alumni Hall, is the ideal parking location for all teams, volunteers, and event staff for the duration of the competition. Event parking will be free all weekend with no pass or ticket required.
After load-in, larger vehicles, including buses, cargo vans and vehicles with trailers, are required to park in Parking Lot P7. (also free of charge with no pass or ticket required).
Load-in will begin on Friday, March 13 at 3:00 PM. Teams are asked to line up in Parking Lot P5 (next to Alumni Hall) and to follow the posted signage within the lot. The load-in zone will be coned off and monitored by Parking Services attendants and FIRST volunteers, who will be present to guide and assist teams. Depending on the location of your pit, teams will be directed to one of two entrances into the Ravens’ Nest, less than a minute’s walk away.
Load-out will begin in the afternoon of Sunday, March 15, at the end of the Quarter Finals matches. The load-out zone will be coned off and monitored by Parking Services attendants and FIRST Volunteers, who will be available to guide and assist you.
Buses, cargo vans, and vehicles with trailers are welcome in the load-in/load-out zone, but will be required to park in Lot P7 outside of the scheduled load-in and load-out periods.
