The FASSinating LLeaP Partnerships is dedicated to providing quality non-credit professional development courses to the relevant communities outlined by each partnering FASS unit.

Partnership Roles and Responsibilities

What is involved:

FASSinating LLeaP Partnerships workshops and seminars offer professional development and learning opportunities to target audiences decided by you — our FASS partners.  FLP courses can be offered in-person or online at any time, and are led by experts in their field.

Summary of key partnership responsibilities:

FASS unit:

  • Identify a presenter and course concept
  • Submit (or have the presenter submit) a concept proposal
  • Establish demand, feasibility, and timeline of delivery (in conjunction with CIE)
  • Assist in the advertisement of the course, where applicable
  • Determine modality of course
  • Identify and provide a suitable teaching location

Centre for Initiatives in Education (CIE): 

  • Provide assistance with framing course logistics
  • Review potential presenter’s CV and eligibility
  • Set up an online registration system and process all e-commerce transactions
  • Provide a platform for online teaching (if required)
  • Support the advertisement through FASS communications channels
  • Offer technical support to the presenter and participants, as needed
  • Communicate with participants as required
