She holds a BSocSc from the University of Ottawa and a Master of Social Work from Carleton University. Her placement is in an Ottawa based addictions recovery program for women. Laleah worked previously as Research Coordinator with the Firelight Group, a research firm that provides community-based studies to support the rights and interests of indigenous communities in Canada.
