Lunch Roulette is a creative approach to bringing together staff and faculty from different departments to meet and have lunch or coffee.
It’s an opportunity to meet new people, be exposed to new ideas, and discover new areas of your organization. The initiative’s goals include increased interoffice communication and new connections within Carleton’s diverse employee population. This initiative is community-based and open to faculty and staff at all levels.

How Does It Work?
- On a quarterly basis, faculty and staff have one week to register their name, email address and department.
- Faculty and staff are matched randomly with a lunch/coffee partner and provided with their respective coordinates.
- Paired faculty and staff are responsible for scheduling their lunch/coffee meeting.
Free Lunch Bonus
Every month when individuals are matched, one pair will be randomly selected to win free lunch vouchers for the Fresh Food Company buffet.
