Heidi O'Hagan

Heidi completed her M.A. in Psychology which consisted of a validation study of the Measures of Criminal Attitudes and Associates (MCAA) Scale. She completed her B.A. with honours in Psychology at the University of Waterloo. Her general research interests include the success of post-release support and intervention programs, especially with youthful offenders, as well as general recidivism rates and prevention. She is also interested in how interpersonal issues, such as poor emotion recognition abilities, affect offending behaviours and the maintenance of antisocial attitudes and maladaptive social interactions.
